Hi,

I have a toshiba m200 portege which has been acting up - the quality of the speaker deteriorated about 3 weeks ago, until it finally stopped working 2 weeks ago.

Then last week, my LCD screen stopped working right - when I boot up, the toshiba screen has a pink tinge, it goes through bios, although the screen flickers. I see the windows start up screen, but the screen goes black in windows (I never see the desktop, etc.). It works fine with an external monitor.

I have taken it apart in the hopes that i'd be able to see a loose connection or bent cable or something easy to fix, but no such luck.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what could potentially be causing this?
