Hi there,

I'm trying to wrestle with a strange input panel problem. The input panel itself is working fine but the the button to open/close it is what is giving me grief. Rather than displaying the open/close icon by the taskbar, that icon is gone and instead clicking anywhere on the taskbar where there is not an application running will open/close the input panel. This includes the space on either side of the quick launch area. I've dug through every option I could find to somehow 'reset' the input panel and/or taskbar but made no progress.

The tablet is a Toshiba Tecra M4 and it has XP Tablet Edition & SP2 installed. It has been working fine for several months and there was nothing added/removed around the time the problem appeared.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: My bad! Although I had searched for this problem initially and found nothing, after posting the 'similar threads' displayed this one which had the solution.
