If you truly are completely computer illiterate, to use your words, then I don't think a Tablet PC is right for you. I would say that a TPC actually has a higher level of complexity than a regular PC...
Sure, once you know what you're doing, a tablet offers a nice intuitive way to interact with your computer, but to not know anything about computers and assume that a tablet is not much harder to use than a paper notepad (if that is what you have assumed), would be a big mistake IMHO.
