Reinstall XP Tablet Edition

Hi. Back when MS was having their Tablet PC Giveaway, [winter-summer of 2003] I won one! Well, I've had it over a year, and I'd like to re-install XP. I've caught virus' with it, and they created a lot of problems, and boot time is well over 10 minutes from power button to ready to use, among many other similar problems. I've tried just fixing them, but I'd like to just re-install. I don't have any data that I can't move to another computer to re-install, and not a ton of programs on it, [just a lot of remnents from old uninstalled ones]. It has 2 USB ports, but I don't have a USB cd drive. I don't know if it will even boot from a USB drive, but I can get one if I need it to re-install. I don't recall Compaq giving me a restore CD that you get with new computers [you do don't you? I build mine]. I don't want to shell out $200 for their dock either. What do I need to do? Thanks

I have the dock so I haven't had that issue. You should be able to check in the setup options during boot to see if you can add the USB to the boot sequence. (I'm in the middle of reinstalling myself or I'd check).
