Hi Everyone

Does anyone know where I can get the hotpad drivers for my Fujitsu 3400.

I have been to the Fujitsu website, and although they do show some drivers they don't show the driver for the hotpad. Nor do they give a driver thats 'resume from hibernation' compatable, when ever i resume from hibernation in Windows Me, the pen will no longer function. I am currenty using the windows 2000 driver, but still no luck.

Also can anyone tell me how to find out what an "Unknown Device' is, Since I have installed windows me, I have been unable to locate what these devices are, is there anyway I can bleed some information from windows about these unknown devices.

Also does anyone know, how I could install windows xp on this machine ? I have a usb cd-rom drive, but i'm not sure if its possible to get this computer to boot from a usb cd-rom ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I use the programmable hotpad?
The use of the programmable hotpads is explained in the Technical Reference Guides (TRGs) for each pen tablet. To use theprogrammable hotpad, you will also need the Hotpad DLL for the pen tablet. The Hotpad DLL can be downloaded from this Website, either by itself or as part of the Developer's Disk for the pen tablet.

I don't see Windows ME drivers on the US site. However, you might try the SAS drivers to see if the unknown devices is taken care of. This might also help the hibernation issue.

Hello,
the problem is known but due to information of Fujitsu/Siemens they will not upgrade the bios with this feature. You have to boot with XP-disks to install a CD-driver via USB, then ( my idea ) best copy all XP+SP2 in a own partition for quick install from this.
I had a working W2000 system on my 3400 and I upgraded to XP+SP2 without any problem. But still I have lack function on "right mousekey" using the pen.

Since I have XP+SP2 on the machine I feel more speed?! so my intention to sell the device is not longer actual. ;-)
