I am reloading a friend's Protege 3505 from scratch for her. I loaded XP Pro Tablet PC with SP1 from CD and then installed SP2 from a different CD. I have installed all the drivers and various combinations of Toshiba Utilities.

The screen rotates fine if I click on the system tray icon and select "change screen orientation" manually, but it won't automatically rotate on its own. I've never touched a tablet before in my life, but she says that it should automatically rotate the image when you flip the screen around. DOes anybody have any ideas? Thank you!

Never mind! Since my original CDs are pretty old at this point, I had installed all the drivers/utilities from the website. I went back and uninstalled all of that (the stuff I could). Then I went to the CD and found something called Toshiba common utility. After installing that the auto-rotation worked fine. I checked the website again but couldn't find any "common utility" or anything similar. Thanks a bunch, Toshiba. I'm glad she hung on to the original CDs.
