I'm brand new to the Tablet PC. I have abrand new HP/Compaq TC1100. I turn the power switch and get no display and the PC beeps 3 times. I seem to remember that a normal PC beeping at startup is a bad thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are we talking about three short beeps or a long and two short or...?

I don't recall what bios your tablet has but my first guess would be that it's a memory issue. If you feel comfortable, you may want to first try removing you installed memory and making sure it is properly reseated, then boot again and listen for your beep codes.

Listen carefully to the BIOS Beep Codes and check the table in the AMI section. If you are hearing it correctly, three beeps is a base memory failure.
