I have trouble switching from the writing mode to the keyboard mode in the on-screen keyboard window, also how do I keep the on-screen keyboard on all the time ?

Which model are you using and which version of the OS are you using?

If you are not using Service Pack 2 release candidate 2 then I'd recommend this installation.

Thanks for your response , the Tablet PC model is TC 1000 and the operating system is windows xp for tablet pc.
Are you referring to S/P 2 for windows xp ?

Yes, you should install the Service Pack 2 for Windows XP so that you can take advantage of the better TIP and security.
