Debian Installation on Toshiba M200

The Toshiba M200 is a convertable TabletPC (ie can be used as a normal laptop, but with a quick flip/turn of the screen it works as a Tablet). It has a 12" screen, Pentium M 1.4GHz (centrino) and the main part of it is that the screen has a digitizer builtin (using the included stylus). My configuration has 512MB memory and a 60GB harddisk.

I wasn't sure if I linked to this before .. so here it is again ..

Debian Linux installation

Another great site for Linux on M200

http://linux-tablet-pc.dhs.org/
This site also helped me get Debian running on my tablet. It doesn't have the great versatility of WinXP, but they're trying. I think MS learned how to do a better OS by seeing what Open Source did better. I hate to say it but MS did a great job with XP for tablet in SP2 (lonestar). I wish I was still a programmer, so I could help in development of Linux on the tablet. Give installing Linux a try if you have time, it's fun! And you'll learn more about how these tablets work than you probably knew or cared about. But dang, it's addicting.
