Can't see Windows folders on C:\ drive after booting via SD Card on an M200

Hi there.

I get an unmountable_boot_volume blue screen when windows loads so I'm trying to repair or possibly reinstall things. I've managed to boot from the SD Card and via option 9 (Targus CD-ROM) my external CD-ROM seems to be recognised. The question that I'd like to ask is that once I'm in DOS, shouldn't I be able to see the windows directories on my HD? If I go to C:\ I only see the contents of the SD Card. I can access the CD-ROM via the Q:\ drive and can load the recovery CD - but the recovery CD say's that it will erase everything. I'd like to copy some files from the Windows document folders to my SD card before reinstalling - but I can't see the drive that Windows is installed on!

Is this normal or am I missing something? If I decide to forget about the documents, will the recovery CD's install windows in the correct place?

Don't worry peeps - I figured it out. DOS can't see NTFS partitions! I used a utility called NTFSDOS and it worked a treat!
