IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!
Toshiba's third party software licensors impose severe restrictions limiting Toshiba's ability to replace a lost or damaged Restore, Reconfiguration, Recovery or Configuration Builder CD (CBCD)s.
If you have lost, misplaced or damaged a Recovery Configuration Builder CD you can choose to recover the system *manually or have the recovery performed by Toshiba for a nominal service charge.
Toshiba Depot Procedure:
Carefully look over the following programs to determine which meets your specific needs:
* In-Warranty Notebooks
If your computer is in-warranty and you choose to use the Toshiba Depot this service will be performed at your expense. The depot charge for reimaging is $75.00 which includes reimaging, shipping any required packing materials). Charges are made via credit card or a cashier's check.
* Out of Warranty Notebook
If your computer is no longer in warranty and you choose to use the Toshiba Depot the service charge for reimaging is $75.00 with an additional $35.00 charge for the initial out of warranty tech call. Charges are made via credit card or a cashier's check.
