Question question on the escape/rotate button

Is the escape/rotate button a multi-functional button, or can you only assign one function to it per screen orientation? I was really hoping i could hold it down for 2 seconds to get the screen to rotate or something...

Esc button

I don't think the three buttons; ctrl/alt/del - Esc - and the 'joystick' button are programable by the user . Just the four buttons on the right (in laptop mode) are user adjustable. I'm going to guess the the other three are set in BIOS as they work correctly when I boot into Linux on my box.

Almost all buttons are programmable

Two of the 3 buttons (bottom-right in laptop mode), and the 4 "buttons" (right) are all programmable. Only the Ctrl-Alt-Delete button cannot be reprogrammed.

Program the 2 buttons with the Tablet and Pen Settings utility. Go to Windows XP Control Panel and (if in classic mode) "Tablet and Pen Settings."
Tip: program the middle button as "Display Tablet PC menu" and you'll be able to calibrate the touch screen, change screen orientation, and reprogram the 2 buttons, among other options.

Program the 4 "buttons" with TTapProp.exe. It's called "Pen buttons" in the Toshiba utilities menu.
Tip: For "Unspecified application," program one of the buttons as TTapProp.exe, and you'll be able to add settings for new applications easily.
