I hope I won't suffer from ....

buyer's remorse. I bought a "tricked out" R 25. In order to calm my feelings of buyer's remorse, I need some reassurance from you wonderful and infomative people.

I plan to be an IT Network Security Administrator. I am going to a local community college for the Microsoft and network classes and will eventually transfer to a 4 year next fall for a BIS degree.

Through an advertised link on my school's website, I purchased Office Pro 2003 with One Note ($239) and Visio Pro ($159). I'm a little miffed that I went to their site today (directed by an E-mail hyperlink) and they are selling Windows 2007 for $199. I started feeling the buyer's remorse so I lurked in and read numerous forums and found out about the availability of OfficePro 2007 and OneNote 2007.
I called the vendor and they will take back the (for a $30 restocking fee) and are goint to send me OfficePro 2007 with Symantec Antivirus 2007 and Visio 2007 for $359, that's $50 cheaper. Since the R25 comes with OneNote I came out on the + side of things.

Here are the options on my R25Tablet.

A T7200 Core2Duo 2Ghz and 4MB cache
2 MB Ram
Multi layer DVD
Bluetooth
100 GB 5400rpm
4 yr Depot maint -- Total Protection Package (I can't see paying $2400 for a Tablet and not having the extended warranty)

Some other requirements because of school

I will have to partition for Linux and XP Tablet
I will also have to run Virtual PC

So please tell me I'll be ok!!!

Thanks
Tacotime

Toshiba is a good manufacturer and you should be fine. If the Tablet PC fills all of your needs then there is no reason for remorse

Remember, the Tablet PC is a notebook with extra features. All will be well.
