Hi I'm new. Hopefully you guys can help me out.

I have the Toshiba Satellite A25-307. I've had it for a year now and everything's going ok except for 2 things. One is the player buttons on the bottom not working and the other are the speakers. I'm not as worried about the buttons.

I can barely hear the speakers. I have it to the max on the player I have and on the volume icon thingie in the bottom right corner. I've also double clicked it and made everything to the max and made sure nothing was on mute. I have SoundMax Audio Digital if that helps.

What's wrong with my speakers? Thanks in advance.

I'm afaraid that I'm not at all familiar with that model. I'm guessing it's not a tabletpc? The only suggestion I might have is to verify in the control panel and device manager that everything is installed correctly. If not or even if it is you might try downloading the sound software from toshiba and removing the sound,video,game controllers in device manager and reinstalling them. If you are running XP it should automagically see the new hardware but try and force it to reinstall with the downloaded drivers. Have you checked Toshiba support?
