Installing Tablet Pack

I am attempting to install the Tablet Pack software but I continually get errors saying that I must have Office XP loaded. I do have Office XP loaded - any clues?

Do you have the exact error message for us?
Which Toshiba do you own?
Which version of the OS are you using?
What method of installation are you trying?
What have you done so far to resolve the problem?

These will help us figure out what is happening on your Toshiba.

Toshiba M200
XP Tablet PC Edition Version 2002
Service Pack 1

Installing from the setup package that was delivered on the desktop of the Toshiba (its brand new :-))

Office 2003 already loaded completely on machine

Error on installation: "You must have Microsoft Office XP installed to use Microsoft Office XP Pack for Tablet PC. Install Microsoft Office XP and start Tablet Pack setup again."

I am pretty sure that Office 2003 and Office XP are one in the same...

Does that help any?
Thanks

Office XP vs Office 2003

Well I'm not sure why it wouldn't work but Office XP is older than Office 2003. Here's a comparison from MS. You'd think the newest version would work also.

Try the MS tablet forum, the developers might have a fix.

Update on Tablet Pack installation issues

Not 100% sure about this but MS states that Office 2003 does require the Tablet Pack for Office 2003 (only required for Office XP). I am assuming that this means the features provided in Tablet Pack are built into Office 2003 but that could be a bad assumption. I have requested this answer... I'll let you all know when I receive the response.
Thanks!!

Sorry that I lost sight of this thread.

The Tablet Pack is only for Office XP. Office 2003 has the features already embedded so there is no need to install the Tablet pack for it.

Hope that helps.
