The Toshiba Portégé M200 Tablet PC Review

I love my Portégé M200. It is a very well-built Tablet PC. The Toshiba quality is very evident. It doesn't feel cheap and you won't feel that you've wasted your money on it.

As a Tablet PC, I find it very useful. But like a PDA, this is a very subjective view. Some people may find it extremely useful while others may find it a frivolous waste of money. However, I really like the whole concept of the Tablet PC. As a system developer, I need to sketch design notes, code and write reports. The Tablet PC allows me to sketch notes and store them in the hard disk for future reference. That is not something you can do with a regular notebook.

The Toshiba Portégé M200 is definitely worth checking out if you are in the market for a Tablet PC or an ultra-portable notebook. It is more expensive than other ultra-portables in the same class but that's because of its additional capabilities as well as its Tablet features. If you give this Tablet PC a shot, you'll never want to return to a normal notebook again!

But I certainly wished Toshiba could have chosen to be a little magnanimous and included a backup stylus with the Portégé M200. **** the one who made that decision not to include the backup stylus!

Question Re: The Toshiba Portégé M200 Tablet PC Review

Hi LPH,

Can you tell me why an M200 won't display a powerpoint presentation through a projector if it has audio files embedded in it?

Cheers
Frank.
