toshiba tablet access code utility
I have repeatedly setup this utility, it works for several times, then suddenly the tablet pen will not 'write' my login signature, so it just hangs until I hit "cancel".
Then I have to delete my registration, and re register, at which point it works again (if I try to update the current registration, the pen wont write and I cant proceed through the update) ....Again, ti will work for about 1 day... then when I later try to unlock my station, the pen wont "write", and the CANCEL button is the only button available.

Is it after hibernation?
Do you notice this after the tablet hibernates or does this happen on an apparently randon basis. I noticed some issue with hibernation interfering with some software. Are you running the latest bios and updates from Toshiba? I had trouble with MS Outlook crashing with 'check mail every 30 min' set and hibernation. I've not used the login with signature function yet.

once the logon utility stops working once, it wont ever work again until I clear the registration and re-register.
It doesnt seem to be related to hibernation at all.
I do have the latest bios and updates.

Do you belong to a domain by chance. I noted on another site that this can be an issue. I guess domain or not domain can be hard to select. Someone else implied that this utility can be installed/uninstalled. Have you tried that?

no, I dont belong to a domain.
I have found that the login utility works when completely restarting the computer, but even though the utility screen comes on, it will not let me "write" when I am trying to get out of hybernation, or trying to "unlock the workstation".
I have not tried install/reinstall.
