Hi,

I'm not sure which model your boss uses but here are a couple tricks I use with a Toshiba M200 because when I move from notebook mode to tablet mode the factory default is set for the tablet mode to be portrait.

(1) Put the display in notebook mode so that you have access to the keyboard. Now press and hold Fn and then press the F5 key to cycle through options for the external monitor. Put the unit so that the display is only on the tablet pc.

(2) On the bottom right of the toolbar is a display properties icon. Click on it and choose properties. A dialog box will appear. Click on the tab for display. This will allow you to change the sequence of display orientations. Change to your liking.

(3) Use the Fn /F5 combination again to move to the external monitor -- either simultaneous or only the external monitor.

Now when the tablet pc is put into tablet mode the display on the external monitor should be fine.

Hope this helps !

Should have mentioned ...

There is also a Rotation Utility available.

Access it via the menu. Start -> All Programs -> TOSHIBA -> Tablet PCs -> Rotation Utility.

Access it via the button which looks like a small joystick on the side of the tablet. Press and hold button and a menu appears on screen.
