Hi,

I am importing a MS Word 97 Document into Windows Journal. It worked fine for the first few days I had my tablet pc. Now when I try to import a word document it opens and displays over 400 pages of unreadable/unprintable characters. The original document opens fine in Word 97. I think it must be a setting that I changed but I can't figure out what it is. Is any one familiar with this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have access to MS-Word 2003? You might open the document in 2003, save in that format, and see if this helps. Also, maybe try to save the file in rtf format.

I do not have access to Word 2003 but I was able to fix the problem by going to a restore point that previously worked. I think the problem was when I was trying to set up my printer to print in legal format. I must have changed a setting. Thanks.
