Tablet PC and FileMaker Pro (7) compatibility

Anyone using Tablet PC and Filemaker Pro, esp v.7 ?

Have you been able to enter data fields with the stylus, as writing using the TIO, as well as pulldown menus, checkboxes, and radio buttons?

FileMaker Tech support could not give me any guidance on this topic.

I just downloaded the FMP demo from their website and I am not getting an ink text entry popup menu. It's too bad because OneNote, Franklyn Covey and Windows Journal all suck. They are all fine for a day or two, but when you get a few hundred notes in them they all seem to be extremely inadequate.

Ink and Penabling Filemaker

While I haven't done much with Filemaker 7, rite pen works well to integrate ink capabilities into Filemaker. The TIP doesn't float into non-MS applications. With ritepen you can write anywhere on the screen, more like the original write anywhere version of the TIP prior to SP2. It's nice to penable Filemaker 6.0 and I don't see any reason why it won't also work for 7. It is a little bit slow on the recognition but faster than tapping on the on-screeen keyboard.

30 day Trial software available at http://www.evernote.com/en/products/ritepen/

Hope it works for you.
