Synching Outlook with my Main Office Computer

I'm trying to synch my Tablet PC and Office PC Outlook files. I would like to respond to mail offline, synch back up when I get to my office PC and see my tasks and schedule. I've tried the following:
1) Use Pocket PC's Active Synch to synchronize both tablet and office PC. ISSUES: 2 step process, calendar gets synched but email does not. Active Synch can't synch email with 2 other computers.
2) Use "SynchPST" to synch up. ISSUE: Only works when a LAN path is available between the 2 computers. I can't connect my tablet PC to my office LAN due to office policy restrictions.
3) Use Lynq-PC USB to USB file transfer. ISSUE: Used to transfer files/ folders between 2 PCs. Does not synchronize between 2 PCs.
4) Add USB to USB LAN connectivity with USB LAN bridge, then use SynchPST. ISSUE: Since the 2 PCs are in different domains/ workgroups, I can't get Windows on the office PC to see the tablet.

Can anyone point me to the best way to synch up? The ideal solution would be to simulate the ActiveSynch process for a pocket PC. If only I had that on my tablet PC!

The easiest method is through a LAN and since your company has a policy against hooking up your tablet pc to their LAN then it is best for you to build your own LAN between the desktop and tablet pc.

I'd suggest that you buy or make a crossover cable and connect your tablet pc to your desktop. Now you have a LAN and can use SynchPST without any hassles. In fact, I know lots of people who carry a crossover cable just in case there is a problem ...

why are they different domains / workgroups? Can't you make them the same?
