| GPRS anyone? I'm looking into Tablet PCs which support GPRS (move SIM from phone into TabletPC). Where can I find out which makes/models support this functionality? What are my other options to get this support (e.g., PCMCIA cards for GPRS)? Thanks! M |

| Type II Hi, Any Tablet PC with Type II can have a PC Card added to it for GPRS functionality. In addition, several rugged Tablet PCs have CRMA. The new HP TR3000 is a great example. I've never tried it but placed "Wireless PC Card for GSM / GPRS" in the google search engine and over 700k results were returned. For those of you curious about GPRS, General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is now the standard way of passing data over a mobile phone network. Hope this helps. |
