Where to buy a Tablet in the UK?

I'm about to buy a new notebook/laptop, and I'm intrigued by the Tablet. I'm in the UK, and I don't know what's available. Can a fellow Brit suggest a dealer/supplier/adviser? I've heard good reports from the Toshiba M4 by Robert Scoble, but I can't see that's available in the UK.

I usually choose Dell, but when I called them today their sales staff think that 'Tablet' is the same as 'Axim' (i.e. pocket PC!) and they obviously don't do a Tablet.

Thanks
Andrew Denny

Hey Andrew,

I am not from the UK and cannot answer the first part but would like to respond to the second. Dell offers the Motion Computing Tablet PC products and you might be interested in the new LE1600 from Motion.

See www.motioncomputing.com for details.

Dell UK are not agents for Motion, and Dell do not make Tablets.

The UK Motion dealers that I know of are Mobitech http://www.mobitech.org.uk/ or Ergo http://www.ergo.co.uk/

I've actually put in an order for a LE1600 from Mobitech

For Fujitsu try http://www.shopfujitsusiemens.co.uk/

If you're interested in Acer products go her to find your nearest reseller http://www.acer.co.uk/acereuro/page3...crc=2249446843

And Expansys do a limited range http://www.expansys.com/d_tablet.asp

HTH,
