what do you guys think about the sales volume? can microsoft do more to help manufacturers? should there be more ads? trade shows? give-aways? other ideas?

I was thinking that all microsoft employees should use the tablet pc instead of notebooks or desktops. It would be a great pr move and other companies would see that ms is behind the product.

It would be nice to see more and more microsoft employees using the tablet pc. However, we all need to be realistic. The tablet pc market share is approximately 1 percent of the notebook market. While sales are ramping up, it would be bad for the market for an immediate shift to occur over to the tablet and thereby robbing notebook sales. Personally, I''d like to see tpc sales increase quickly this year and be the dominant form factor by the 4th quarter.
