| Been on a plane lately and wondered what you were going to do with your external DVD player so you could watch a movie or two? Then, you realized your bag was even more full because of the movie cases, your Apple iPod and yet another AC power adapter. Ooops. The weight adds up quickly, doesn't it? The upcoming Microsoft Portable Media Center products will bridge the gap between your personal entertainment and your business PC. You'll be able to store your MP3s, movies, and photos all on one portable device. Just hook it up to your Tablet PC to sync over new titles. The Creative Zen Portable Media Center will be one of these first devices to hit the streets. Creative plans to ship in August. Amazon.com is already accepting pre-orders. We've set up a forum on MobileQuestions.com to discuss Portable Media Centers and other Media Devices. What do you think about them? |
