Tablet PC - Sandbox (Chit Chat) Discuss anything about the Tablet PC that doesn't fit into the other categories. It's the closest to a free for all. But keep it friendly! Plus don't forget to post about yourself in the Introductions forums.

Do you buy your own computer for work?

In short, people are willing to pay a few extra dollars to play on a mobile PC that is primarily for work. Rather, on a hope that they will have time to play. How much it actually happens once they have the computer, I don't know.

My first pc purchase for work was a laptop to help me take notes in meetings. I'm a project manager at a software company so the laptop was quickly seen as productivity enhancing. Now my entire staff of project manages have notebooks.

Now I've made the jump to the tablet pc. At first I was hesitant. Even I have difficulty reading my handwriting. But I will have to say TIP is ready good at that. I am pleasantly surprised!

In any went, I expect in 2 years we will have at least 10-20% of the laptops replaced with these. I think that they will ready catch on.
