HOLLYWOOD, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 2004--Synergistix Data Solutions has been named by Microsoft as one of three finalists for the Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG) annual award in the enabling technologies category. Synergistix was selected for C.A.T.S. (Call Activity Tracking System), its automated sales tool for the pharmaceutical industry. The system allows pharmaceutical reps to better manage sales calls by receiving updated market intelligence about physicians, as well as the drugs they prescribe.

The MS-HUG award recognizes independent software vendors (ISVs) that develop the most innovative solutions using Microsoft technology for the healthcare industry. Award contestants are evaluated by an independent panel of healthcare leaders and domain experts on the extent to which they provide significant business benefits to healthcare organizations and improve patient care. The ISV finalists will demonstrate their solutions in the Microsoft booth at the HIMSS 2004 Conference, Feb. 22-26, in Orlando, Fla. Winners will be announced in the Microsoft booth, No. 3069, at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24. In addition, the ISV and customer winners will be highlighted on the HIMSS and MS-HUG Web sites.
