Microsoft is launching a Tablet PC Developer Contest today: Does Your App Think in Ink? This new contest is a great opportunity for independent software vendors, Microsoft® solution providers, developers and custom solution builders.

Contest Duration:
March 22 - July 31, 2004

Prizes:
1. Grand Prize. One (1) “Grand Prize” of US $100,000.

2. First Prize. Ten (10) “First Prizes” of US $5,000 per First Prize.

3. Most Innovative Solution Prize. One (1) “Most Innovative Solution Prize” of US $15,000.

There will also be additional promotional consideration.

Judging Criteria:
The submitted solution will be evaluated on the following criteria:

- Broad Usage Factor
- Usability
- Cool Factor
- Mobility
- Use of Pen and Ink

Please Note: All criteria are weighted equally.

For the Most Innovative Solution: This is a subjective category and the judges will determine which application is the most innovative of the lot!
