Acer is to launch its third-generation tablet PC at the end of the second quarter and by then the price on its second-generation unit will have fallen to $3200 or lower.

When it comes to the Tablet PC market, Acer has done a good job being one step ahead of the competition. HP still owns the market share but that may change as Acer continues to push forward.
