Loren has written an overview of his conversations with Talking Tablet PCs at DEMO.

I was intrigued by his statements regarding the press and the idea that many have their minds made up without even trying the Tablet PC or for trying it only shortly.

Uhm. Let's be blunt. Did you learn to walk by trying it once and then quiting? Did you ever fall? Of course you fell and then dusted yourself off and moved forward.

Why then do people try the Tablet PC once or only for a short time and then complain?

Yeah, I couldn't think of a reason either. Uhm, I couldn't find one reason that made any rational sense. All of the excuses appear to be shear pea-brain nonsense and it's time to move the Tablet PC form factor forward.
