I'm not on the beta list for Microsoft. Microsoft was kind enough to provide the Alpha release of the Windows XP Tablet PC 2004 Edition (Lonestar) but after filling out the form on BetaPlace, silence was returned. So I cannot tell you about the webcast except that Neowin is pointing to BetaPlace and stating there will be a webcast on Thursday afternoon. Well, the middle of the day is horrible timing for me anyway ... :noexpress

Hello Lonestar Alpha Tester

This Thursday (2/19/04) from 1:00 - 2:30 PM (PST) we will be hosting a live online webcast overview of the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC 2004 (Lonestar) update.

This webcast will go over the new features in Lonestar as well as some best practices for using these features. Please have your questions ready; we will try to save time for Q&A at the end of the webcast.

We look forward to having the opportunity to present these new features to you in detail.
