A positive article in the LA Times concludes the Toshiba R15 Tablet PC gets results at lower costs.

The Tablet PC I reviewed will translate e-mail and then read it aloud in various computerized voices. Using handwriting recognition, it finally is possible to use a pencil (a stylus actually) to jot a quick e-mail message.

And there it is - the first of many more positive reviews to hit the internet. Why? 2005 is the year of the Tablet PC. Duh.
