In the UK, at least, it would help if Tablet PCs were generally available in the big computer stores - the proposition doesn't become compelling until you actually get your hands on: before that, the additional price is, to say the least, offputting. Fortunately (it's an ill wind, etc) my brother, who has worse RSI than I, was provided with a slate by his employer, which gave me the chance to find out what the fuss was about and whether the extra cash was merited. I got my Toshiba M200 about 10 days ago. I love it. |

| I agree that retail locations are not doing a good job promoting the Tablet PC. Many computer stores / electronic stores still do not know about the Tablet PC -- or they have many misconceptions.
