Quick ! Someone wants to buy a Tablet PC and she doesn't know what to get. She has a reasonable list. Make sure you check out her requirements and then add your comments and suggestions for her.

I also need help from anyone who owns a Tablet PC in figuring out which features I need, and then which make and model I should get. From my initial reading/thinking about it, here's what I think I need:
* A convertible Tablet PC that I can use as both a tablet and a laptop
* The ability to draw on the screen when I'm using the keyboard, so when I'm taking notes in class I can type the lecture and draw the graphs
* Compact, lightweight, and durable (I plan to get an oversized purse and take it EVERYWHERE)
* The ability to "dock" it into a monitor, keyboard, mouse, scanner, printer, external hard drive, and network cable at home.
* Wireless internet. I'm not up on all the latest in wireless internet technology (WiFi, BlueTooth, etc.) -- what do I want?
* A CD burner or some other way to get information off the Tablet PC besides the internet when I'm not at home. Maybe one of those little USB sticks would work too?
* A big hard drive (I plan to accumulate a large electronic library) and/or the ability to upgrade the hard drive later
* Sound
* An extended warrany and/or insurance
* Software: Microsoft Office, OneNote or GoBinder (how should I choose?), Adobe Acrobat
Other features that I might not necessarily need, but would probably be nice to have:
* Lots of memory and/or the ability to upgrade memory later
* A CD-ROM/DVD player
* Long battery life
* Audio recording capability (I keep reading stories about students using their Tablet PCs to record lectures, synchronized with their notes)
* Built in network and modem connections
* Outdoor screen
* Student discount
