Yes, it seems foolish when we look back and realize that IBM said no one would want a color monitor. It seems foolish to look back and read articles that 'no one needs the power of a 386' or 'computers are fast enough' ... It seems foolish to block anyone from becoming more productive.

Now, companies on the leading edge will make sure they calculate the savings from making sure their assistants are productive. In the future, we'll all look back and feel a little foolish for not seeing it sooner -- Everyone can use a Tablet PC.
