Fujitsu tablet PC Gets Modular

ZDNet does a rewrite of the press release and adds a few snippets of interesting details. For example, " For users who need to perform a lot of dictation, the tablet offers dual microphones with noise-cancellation technology."

I drive a minimum of four hours a day a have been thinking about ways to use the Tablet PC during the drive. It seems that voice recognition might be a great way to write articles. Dos anyone already do this with their Tablet PC and wish to make a few suggestions?

I don't dictate while driving but I have on the local ferry which has a low hum and background conversation. I do pretty well with a noise cancelling headset (I use a plantronics, the model number escapes me at the moment) You may want to consider a noise cancelling unidirectional mike mounted on your dash and aimed towards your mouth for convenience or perhaps opt for a headset yourself?

One idea I've been toying with is replacing the mike in my Stylistic 3500 with one of these which should replace the existing with little work.

I'm going to try to do some dictation this weekend on my acer and then compare it to the iTablet.
