I swear that my sister is teasing me today with links to articles that are pissing me off. This latest one has me reeling. Just check out this hook. According to this article girls who have been carrying laptops are now being forced to lug a Tablet PC.

Is there anything positively spun in the article? It makes me want to gag.

Actually it is rather sad when mainstream computer press members hate something so badly that they work against the product. They hate that they are wrong. It's their own private little attitude in which they think they are better than the rest of us.

The truth is that the students were already buying notebooks. The truth is that some schools will be way behind in preparing their students than others and maybe that is the gap that some people actually want to have happen. The truth is that Tablet PC sales are on target. The truth is that Tablet PC sales are increasing. The truth is that certain members of the press hate the Tablet PC. In fact, they hate it so much that they make things up in order to feel better about their own silly thoughts.

In the words of my students, "Whatever." And in case you are not aware, whatever is a code word for some rather profane thoughts, none of which are polite.
