| CES Tablet PC Gathering Plans are coming together nicely for the Tablet PC Gathering. Microsoft has graciously helped with the buffet and room arrangements. Lora (whatisnew.com) is trying to answer everyone's emails as quickly as possible. Peter (Tabula PC) has made flight arrangements to come out for this single event. Chris Coulter (answers questions on GoDotNet) is going to drive down with Lora and I so that we get there tomorrow morning/afternoon. We'll leave in a few hours from now. Loren (Jumpingminds.com - famous for his Incremental Blogger site) is driving up from Arizona. Microsoft employees are flying into town too. People from Pen Computing and even Todd Bishop from Seattle (watch his blog for a weekly column on Microsoft) are planning on joining in on the fun. We had hoped Spencer from TabletPCBuzz would be able to come down for the day but flight plans didn't work out. Chris from TabletPCTalk is flying in that night and hopefully airport security will not give him a hassle and he'll get there ;-)
Fujitsu, TwinHead, Motion, and many other manufacturers have made reservations. Software developers have sent their RSVPs. And, of course, many end users have sent in requests for invitations.
So ... it looks like we have manufacturers, developers, ISVs, MVPs, Press, and end users who will be there Thursday night. Now if you are having trouble reaching Lora then please send an email to ljheiny********.com. Hope to see you there ! More Information: www.whatisnew.com |
