| Comparing Tablets with Apples It's really interesting that people compare Tablet PC designs with Apple notebooks over and over again. I don't believe that it's in the hardware or software because the hardware is made by the exact same companies that all the other notebooks are made in. I don't think it's hardware components either, since again most are the same, barring the major difference of the microprocessor and chipset. Is it the operating system? Could be, but the range of applicationa that run on that operating system certainly is not an advantage anymore. It is most likely the advertising. Apple is a great example of how a small marketshare can have a large mindshare. People know the company name, most people have good feelings about Apple, the Apple logos are recognizable, oh wait, and iPods now sell better than Apple computers. Comparing Tablets with Apples
