This article is interesting because of the number of myths which are discussed as if they are facts. First, the tablet pc is not $500 more than a comparable product. Second, most people are just starting to replace 4-5 year old machines because they don't have enough power to get the job done. Tablet PCs are excellent replacement machines. However, no one suggests a 1 year old laptop (ugh, a very old term!) should be trashed and replaced with a Tablet PC. That is just absurd. No. No. People with older hardware that no longer does the job absolutely should purchase the Tablet PC over an older, outdated technology unit such as the traditional notebook. OK?
