Why do companies continue to make the same mistakes over and over again? Since when is a discount on a demo unit going to put a tablet into the hands of a reseller but a free evaluation unit to a review site is provided makes any kind of sense? Well, to marketing people it is a mistake repeated over and over again with the same result. The little resellers are hurt. This article shows that ViewSonic still doesn't understand that they need to truly get these units into the hands of the resellers -- the real resellers and not the retailers. There are thousands of one-three man operations that pump greater volume than Dell et al yet they continue to be ignored by the big companies because they don't know how to work with them. It's a case of "We don't know what to do with you so we'll just ignore you..."
