| Mini PCs and Tablet PCs
As the market matures, manufacturers are finding other means to make ends meat. Quote:
The shipments of tablet PCs, on the other hand, dropped 10% during the second quarter of this year and 21% during the third quarter, on a quarter-to-quarter basis, according to MIC.
“Price is the main barrier to the higher sales,” said Chiang of the MIC. With only one or two suppliers to the main components of tablet PCs, component prices are high.
