IMHO, Motion have made a big mistake putting in an 800x600 screen. I
can see why they most likely did it (Windows screen objects are all
bitmapped so the icons would have been too small for many people to
read) but it precludes viewing a typical A4 page, portrait, in PDF for
example. The 800x600 resolution isn't good enough to show typical
fonts.

So, this doesn't represent progress. The Itronix GoBook

http://uk.itronix-europe.com/product...booktablet.asp

(sold under some other name in the USA) has been doing all this, more
or less, for years, and at 800x600 is just as limited to applications
where one doesn't have to view PDFs properly.

I use a 4" pocket/pc PDA (Tosh E800, HP 4700) at 640x480 which is
nearly equivalent to a 1280x1024 at 8" and it is small but usable.
1024x768 would have looked great at 8".

I don't know why somebody doesn't break away from packaging the same
old stuff, same old LCD panels, same old processors and chipsets and
fans, in tablet computers... Microsoft aren't stopping anybody. The
technology in laptops has moved on - see the ultra-thin Sony 500 for
example. I have one of these. WAY ahead of what one gets in tablets.

Does that mean you can't use the pen for the presentation if it is in 1024 x
768 on the projection?
