Motion Tablet Display Problem

The screen on my Motion tablet has developed 'dead zones'. The cursor will
not show up within them and the pen skips over them. It is a real pain ...
particularly if the item I wish to select is in one of the dead zones.
Anybody know how I can fix this?

Re: Motion Tablet Display Problem

Chief

Contact tech support at Motion. They're really good about working problems
through. I seem to remember pressing on connectors at their direction once.
Didn't fix my problem but it might work for you. I just can't tell you where
to lay on your hands because I don't remember. Terri or Chris might
remember...

If it were me though, I call Motion. If it's sick enough to need R&R in
Milpitas, they'll tell you and set it up for then. It's a relatively
painless process. That is unless you're down and can't work and make money,
then it sucks big time! ;)

Re: Motion Tablet Display Problem

I agree with Howard. The first thing to do is to contact Motion.

Re: Motion Tablet Display Problem

Good thoughts, Howard, although I believe the squeezing of the corners or
attempting to get the connectors "connected" was related to a Toshiba 3500
series machine, and not a Motion. Motion Computing is very good working out
issues for users.
