My TabletPC 1000 freezes at various times. Most of the time when I can reboot it does not give me a warning that there was an improper shutdown. The device doesn't seem to know that anything happened.

I have run the HDD one time and it passed both the quick test and the extended test. I had to try a couple of times before it ran long enough to do the extended test.

I am at my wits end here and any help will be great.

This happens with mine too when i use it for over 2 hours at a time. I think its because of overheating the battery, now when i use the mains i take out the battery and it doesnt seem to occur anymore

It still freezes up. The thing that surprises me is that it will reboot most times like I shut it down normally. It's like the computer doesn't know that it was shut down without going to start-shutdown.

before you were saying it was freezing an now your saying it goes through the shut down process?

No it freezes and doesn't know it did not shut down normally.
