| Looking to buy a tablet PC. I am currently in the market for a tablet PC, and this will be the first computer I have bought with my money, so I'm trying to get the most out of it. I currently have a HP Compaq nx7010, which is turning six in July, and I've had more than my share of problems with it. While it started out as a seemingly reliable computer, that changed quickly. Soon the power cord had to be replaced, then the motherboard was fried by the power cord I purchased, which has continued on for quite some time now, long story short I've had to buy about twelve new power cords for this computer. Which I think is very unreasonable, and since I no longer require this laptop for my use at school I decided it was about time to get a nice new computer. I'm quite picky about this computer since I'm spending my money on it and since I've seen so many problems with the brands HP, Dell, and Gateway. So I'm a little hesitant to even look at those brands for fear of having problems with it. Okay, so now onto the part where I tell you what I'm going to use it for. Since I'm still a student, I would be doing a lot of typing on it, along with inking, but I'm a bit of a gamer, so I'll need it to be able to run some games (mostly Ragnarok Online), I would like the computer to be able to work as a dvd player, but that isn't really one of my top priorities. I've looked at the Toshiba Protege M700 and I really like that, but I'm really starting to second guess purchasing that one for some reason, so I was wondering if you all might be able to help me find other computers that might work for my needs. Any help would be appriciated. |
