The International Reading Association announced The Presidential Award for Reading and Technology.

The award honors educators in grades K–12 who are making an outstanding and innovative contribution to the use of technology in reading education.

All entrants must be educators who work directly with students ages 5–18 for all or part of the working day.

Completed entries must be received by November 15, 2006.

This looks like a great opportunity for reading Tableteers to describe how their tools contribute to students reading skills.
