Novelist Michael Crichton talks with an interviewer about his book Timeline and about emerging quantium (subatomic) technology.

He tells how he thinks this technology will change our daily realities during this century. Timeline is one speculation about one change, time travel.

Since almost every school and most households have computers for students to use, the interview is a good, easy read, homework assignment to literature as well as science students in grades four or five through 12.

(Yes, I know 10 year olds in regular public school classes who read and understand at home the content of this interview. I'm guessing most teachers know such students also.)
