Dave Nagel reports that SRI International will synthesize research and provide practice guidelines to inform and improve special education reform efforts for the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC). WWC is a project overseen by the United States Department of Education. SRI is a subcontractor on the project, working with Mathematica Policy Research, which is presently operating under a $50.3 million contract with DOE to expand WWC.

I wonder how they'll consider advanced mobile PCs, such as Tablet PCs and UMPCs in their research reviews? Don't know, probably I should find out, how many empirical study reports exist about affects of advanced technologies on special education academic scores.
