| Re: Problems installing .NET Visual Studio on tabletPC (HP type) Fritz, per my note to Chris, as follows: The problem is solved!!! Per Fritz's suggestion, I tried first to run VS repair and the problem persisted, but then I removed Framework 1.1 as well as the 1.1 hotfix. I then reinstalled Framework 1.1--and it all worked! I can now create C# projects on my TabletPC. But of course once I install the hotfix, we will be back to where we started; I hope not.... So many, many gazillion--multitasking--THANKS! (I will let Fritz know, of course.) | Re: Problems installing .NET Visual Studio on tabletPC (HP type) No problem, will be in touch. FYI: currently, I am in the process of finalizing development of a portable client application in C# that displays statistical data in the form of XML/XSLT reports in an embedded IExplorer control. The application is being used by managers in the field, hence the TabletPC. The data is produced every so often in XML format from SQLServer (I developed a seperate utility for that, also in C#). The managers can hook to the network at will, usually in the morning, and download any new data version updates. And--that's it. Again, many thanks, Larry "Fritz Switzer" wrote: > Larry, > > Glad you're up and running. > > Keep us posted on any Tablet applications you develop. :) > > Fritz > > > -- > Fritz Switzer > Microsoft MVP Tablet PC > www.abletfactory.com > > > > "Lar-Man" <LarMan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:F56DBD11-201A-4A26-893A-E202EAD8E735@microsoft.com... > > Fritz, per my note to Chris, as follows: > > > > The problem is solved!!! > > > > Per Fritz's suggestion, I tried first to run VS repair and the problem > > persisted, but then I removed Framework 1.1 as well as the 1.1 hotfix.
